| MAV Egypt started production year 2000 to produce Globe Valves, Left Check Valves and Safety Valves in both cast iron (GG25) and cast steel (GS-C25N). It started with the production of size 1/2 "-15, at present it produces sizes up to 5"-125, according to German specifications (DIN) |

| All the plant equipment are MAV-Germany, whose experts installed the equipment and provided practical training for 14 months to MAV'S technical staff on the production. |

1 - Universal body for globe valves, lift check valves and strainers; face-to-face and end-to-end dimensions as per DIN 3202; Packing and sealing asbestos-free
2 - Body ends: Optionally with flanges and sealing faces as per DIN 2526 (plain flanges, raised face flanges, tongue and groove, male/female, groove for lenticular seal) or butt welding ends with welding grooves as per DIN 2559.
3,4 - Flat disc or disc with regulating shoulder and pressure-relieved disc (3a); further variants on request, such as resilient or special designs permitting throttling and regulating functions in the opening or closing phase ov valve.
5 - Connection between disc and stem may be established by rolling-on or by means of a screwed joint. Thereby compensating tolerance between disc and seat and ensuring high tightness rates.
6 - Corrosion resistant and micro finished body seat ensuring high tightness, little wear and long service life.
7 - Corrosion resistant and overload protected stem of stainless steel.
8 - Asbestos-free stuffing-box packing of pure graphite and carbon fibers: other packing materials on request.
9 - Valves may be optionally equipped with metal bellows for secondary stem sealing (important in applications where toxic, explosive or inflammable fluids are handled).
10 - With hand wheel or actuator mounting flange as per DIN ISO 5210 for optional use of electric actuators. gear operators or components for remote operation. Pneumatic actuators on request.
11 - Screwed bush of nitrated steel with excellent sliding properties for small operating torques and minimum wear.
12 - Lift check valves may be optionally supplied with or without return spring.
13 - Strainers with high-quality corrosion resistant strainer cartridges. |
